Nano from Storyboard took some pictures of us playing in Regina.

Storyboard rocks the Distrikt. (Note Nano's Hinterland shirt.)

Rock 'n' roll involves a lot of waiting, as Emily from Storyboard demonstrates.

Lana from Generals and Majors, before soundcheck.

Members of Hinterland and Storyboard loiter around the back door of the Distrikt.

More to come: I'm taking off for a few days, but I'll post tons more photos upon my return.

In Regina we played at a sweet venue called the Distrikt. It was sort of in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by warehouses and light industry and a big bakery that made Wonder Bread. But it was cool, with a nice big stage. We played with Storyboard (of course), and Regina's own Generals and Majors. The show was sparsely attended, but it was fun.

After not nearly enough sleep, it's a quick breakfast at Smitty's (no endorsement implied) and then on the road again...

Joining us on tour were our friends in Edmonton's finest dreamo band, Storyboard. Here they are on stage at Broken City.

Here we are hanging out at Broken City.

Robb snapped these photos of me doing my hair before our Broken City show. Hey, ya gotta look beautiful in this rock 'n' roll business.

The first show of our tour was on August 3 at Broken City in Calgary. It's a very cool club, and I hope we play there again.

More scenes from the road.

Scenes from the road: when you're on tour, your diet and sleeping habits sometimes go right out the window. That's part of the fun, of course. Well, that and seeing this big, beautiful country of ours.

More sights from the Prairies.

Hinterland recently returned from a tour of the Prairie provinces. For some of us, this was our first time in that part of the country. I'll post some photos from some of the shows, but first, a few images from the Prairies.
