Hinterland's blog

Here's Windows '78 drummer Michael at work at Vogville. If he looks familiar to Hinterland fans, that's because he filled in for Gregg when we opened for the Album Leaf in April.
As if I didn't already have enough things to occupy my time, my other band, Windows '78, has started recording an album. This photo offers a tantalizing glimpse of what we're working on.
Ah, yes. Well, here we have a photo of the top half of Fretless's head. You can see the rest of him when Paint plays at Crush on Friday night.

Equally apropos of nothing, here is Michaela on the corner of Granville and Pender. She will hate this because she has wet hair, but I like it because of her big rock-star sunglasses.
This is me next to the Kensington Market sign on Spadina. Yes, my eyes are closed. Classic. Michaela failed to warn me before she took the photo.
More from T.O. Here is Michaela before our show at a Japanese restaurant on Spadina called Ibo. Apparently decent sushi is next to impossible to find in Toronto.

A few of these cartoons made me laugh. The rest are just weird.

Here's Kyle. I decided to go with the suit and the guitar to capture that "rock 'n' roll lawyer" vibe.

OK, I couldn't help myself. Here's my version of Cam. I'll have to attempt Gregg tomorrow, if I have time. So sleeeepppyyy.....

Here's my version of Greg W. Maybe I'll attempt ones of Gregg S. and Cam later. Or maybe they'll do self-portraits and send them my way.
Here's me. Michaela did a version of me, but I decided to go with slightly longer hair since I'm growing my hair a little at the moment (and I just got blond highlights). I actually have a green couch in my living room, and I often wear a grey blazer. I don't have T-shirt like that, but I do have a red shirt with a white skeleton on it.
Here's a revised version of Michaela, with longer hair as per her request. Also note the little green skirt.

Using South Park Studio, I made this picture of what Michaela would look like as a South Park character. Maybe the other Hinterlanders will do versions of themselves. If so, I'll post them here.
Hey, check out this interview with our West Coast dreampop homies Guitaro. Mad props! There's a Hinterland interview somewhere on that site, as well.
