The Summerlad will continue on their quest to play every venue in Calgary within a month by following up this show with an appearance at the Gate on April 29. They are joined by Storyboard and the wonderful (but definitely not Calgarian) Hinterland, who hit the city as part of their Western Canadian tour. The Gate, the student pub on the SAIT campus, is an oddly laid out room, and while it can occasionally resemble the structure and sound of a cavern deep beneath the ground, it has one of the most spectacular views in the city, and cheap drinks too.
