There's a plug for our show in the Georgia Straight this week. Here's what it says: "Fans of dream-inducing pop can be forgiven for assuming Hinterland has been in hibernation for much of the winter. After all, the quintet, which received nothing but stellar press for its 2003 debut disc, Under the Waterline, hasn’t been seen on a local stage since last December. Rest assured, though, that Hinterland has been busy, putting the finishing touches on its as-yet-untitled sophomore album, and jetting off to the Centre of the Universe to showcase at the recent Canadian Music Week festival. Those with a love of heaven-sent vocals and crystalline guitars will be happy to hear the group is back from hiatus, at the Piccadilly Pub on Friday (March 11). Opening are local up-and-comers Portico and Go Ghetto Tiger."
