Today's edition of the Vancouver Province newspaper features the following item by Stuart Derdeyn: "Local trip-rock act Hinterland will release its full-length CD of '80s-influenced space pop on Detroit-based label HybridElectric on November 18. Hear Hinterland's track "Tiger Tiger" on CBC Radio 3 at www.cbcr3.com. Kudos to the Canadian music industry for failing--yet again--to pick up on a quality indie act playing music that's right in line with what's blowing up in the U.S. and the U.K. Oh well, there's always another Our Lady Peace cover act out there to sign."
